CCS Timor-Leste
Overview
The new Country Cooperation Strategy (CCS) 2026–2030 is developed with the vision to take ahead the journey to maximize UHC. The four main strategic priorities align with the “Promote” “Provide” “Protect” and “Perform” pillars of the Fourteenth General Progamme of Work of WHO (GPW14), with clearly outlined strategic deliverables under the respective focus areas. This CCS is WHO’s commitment to the Ministry of Health of Timor-Leste to provide a strategic direction towards advancement in health coverage and defining their joint endeavours for the coming five years. The strategic deliverables are set in alignment with the national, regional and global goals for Timor-Leste, with the prime focus on the health needs of the population, thus ensuring bottom-up planning. With due consideration to the fact that improving the health and well-being of the Timorese population is the joint responsibility of the government, WHO and development partners, the CCS will be monitored and evaluated jointly with the WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia (SEARO), the government and development partners
